“ Beetroot Wellington comes highly recommended from this restaurant in Kirton, Lincolnshire for all you veggies. It came with cheesy leeks and creamy sauce. A vegan version is available too! The roast beef lunch was fantastic and generous. A reasonable selection of wines to help wash this down. Some of our party suffered a car breakdown on the way and the chef and staff went the extra mile to allow us to take their roasts away (not a usual service, they took pity on us as time was running out). Thank you Kirton Cottage, we will be back! Service was good too and we do recommend! Thank you! ”

Surprisingly, my husband, who usually shies away from mushroom soup, couldn't stop raving about it after a taste! For his main course, he chose the beef Wellington, and his reaction was priceless: "like hand grenades of flavor exploding in my mouth." This was his first experience with beef Wellington, and it’s safe to say he now prefers it over regular steak, which is a monumental shift for him! Our server, Laura, added to the exceptional experience with her attentive and subtle service. It was as if she could read our minds, anticipating our needs before we even thought to ask. Her extraordinary service made us feel truly valued and enhanced our meal even further. We feel incredibly fortunate to have Ambrish and Laura in our village, as Kirton Cottage is indeed a hidden gem. I genuinely believe you wouldn’t find a better meal within a hundred miles. The scallops were cooked perfectly but the best choice must be the beef wellington-very tender and tasty. Carrots were sweet, even the wine selection had a great choice. If you’re looking for microwaved meals in an ultra modern and noisy establishment then don’t come here. This is classy, quirky and with affordable home cooked food. No wonder it was full, definitely need to book. Wish there were more of these restaurants around the country ”
